Chocolate Chia Treat

shutterstock_151590671This Chocolate Chia Pudding is an example of clean eating with no deprivation, with nutrient-dense foods that truly nourish you. And best of all….it only takes 15 minutes!

CHOCO CHIA PUDDING

¼ cup chia seeds
½ banana
1 cup unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk
1 tablespoon of raw cacao or chocolate protein powder

Combine the pudding: Place the chia seeds in a bowl. Combine the milk, raw cacao, and banana in a blender until smooth. (If you haven’t got a blender, just mash the banana really well and combine with the milk and raw cacao / chocolate protein powder). Pour the mixture over the chia seeds, stir until seeds are mixed through, and let stand for at least 15 minutes before serving.* Top with cacao nibs, goji berries, or shredded coconut / cinnamon. *This becomes even more pudding-like if you leave it longer :)
