Hi Jo, thanks for the note. I understand that maintaining your "routine" while working nights can be challenging. However, you can still pick quality choices. For example, instead of an energy drink (which can usually be very full of sugar and caffeine that affect your adrenals and insulin resistance), you can have a protein powder shake instead. I usually advise my clients to buy some good vegetable protein (e.g. VitalProtein in Chocolate or Vanilla) and make sure that they take a few scoops with them in small containers in their handbag together with a shaker. When you feel a dip in energy coming on, or as a quick snack, you can have a quick protein shake with either water or some coconut milk / almond milk. Try So Good Unsweetened Almond / Coconut Milk at Woolies for this.

Eat to Nourish will provide you with lots of other healthy eating ideas x Feel free to reply back to any of the emails you receive for any questions.

Kindest,
Agnes
